I finished my work weekend and now I am off until April 5th!  Yay!

We also saw the sun a bit today which was very encouraging!  Ella still had on a coat, snowpants, hat and gloves but we were still outside!!!

I love Kohl's!  I hadn't been there in awhile (which my hubby is incredibly thankful for) but today I had a 30% off coupon so I had to go!  Yay!

My daughter is at preschool and my dogs wouldn't cooperate.  So I used this guy instead!  If only I could get my daughter to sit still like this!  LOL!

Despite the fact that it is still freezing outside, I did love seeing the sun today!

Ella has loved buckling buckles for awhile now, but I don't think I ever captured it before.  Now if I can just keep her from figuring out how to unbuckle buckles, we'll be just fine!

Well, I at least took a lot more pictures today!  I'm not sure any of them were amazing but I was practicing a few things that I don't know how to do well yet.

Yes, this is getting very hard!  I'm finding myself a LOT less motivated lately...and it's only mid March!  LOL!  But I'm hoping the recent time change and the "not fast enough" approaching spring will give me some extra light to get some better pictures in the evenings!

How's this for uninspired...ha ha!  I didn't even bother to fix her hair and clean the crumbs off her tray!

This one is a cheat day that I missed somehow.  So here is a picture I found later that I had never edited but I really liked.  It's not the best picture but I love how messy, but pretty, Ella's hair looks in this one!

I was inspired by something I read the other day on the Clickin Mom's Blog. It was written by One July Photographer, Jessica Phillipo. She said,

"Photography is about more than clicking a button and playing in Photoshop. Photography became my solution for bottling emotion and documenting a well-lived life. I picture myself old and gray, looking at a wall of collected images and being able to remember…everything."

My new inspiration on what I want to shoot the next few months and, well forever, is things that I don't want to ever forget. I guess I just never thought about it that way, dumb as that may sound.

So this photo sucks, it's blurry and gives a glimpse of my horribly messy closet and my unmade bed, but it is something I don't want to forget. The way my husband would always give Ella rides around the house in a laundry basket.

I hope to capture this moment again later when I have more time to get a really great shot but since it's my weekend to work this will have to do for now!

I also finished my daughter's bed yesterday.  I was eager to get it set up in her room!  It turned out great!  I love it!  I hope she does too!
